The need for new baju’s

I’ve been to two wedding receptions this month and I’ve only been back for three weeks. Next month, I’m attending another 2 weddings.. haiyaaa, I need to find new baju’s mannn… I was browsing fashionvalet.net and found some really gorgeous jubah’s and what not. BBBuuuuttttt, I think I wanna try them on and feel the texture etc. I don’t think I’ve put on sooo much weight but I think my collections of baju’s are kinda old and if I’m unlucky, it can koyak like at any time tuh !

Seriously TAK KELAKAR!

Why are the ready to wear baju’s are sooo mahal one ???? or these price are normal? hehe… im sooo ketinggalan. jam!

Well, people say no pain no gain right?? Sigh…. Hunting baju season for me will start pretty soon!!! Woot woot…

Tini’s Spa

I is loveeeeeeee Tini’s Spa! The beauticians are nice and thorough …

This is a woman’s only spa. I like that very much coz it makes me feel more comfortable (I bet my fh feels the same way too ) . Nak jalan ke toilet with your hair buruk osso can ++ for hijab wearer’s, they don’t have to risau too! Brilliant kan! Maybe there are lots of these kinda spa in Malaysia, but this is new to me…

The ambience felt similar to Leonard drake but slightly more homely, and you are still dealt professionally. The treatments are cheaper and they explain to you everything that they do on ure skin. I like ! Free education about ure own skin . hikhik…

Ok… as u can see, i am a one happy customer … one place worth sharing….

What’s next pussy cat?

It’s been two weeks since I’ve been back home. Damn, I miss London but I love home tho… so no regrets .

So, what’s next? Work? Business? House renovation? Wedding? Car? Huaaaa…. These are actually the 5 most common questions I got from people since I’ve been back. Well, ermmmm chill la only 2 weeks ma.

I think this year will be filled with wonderful details of fun, colours, shapes, sparkles and new discoveries for me (and the people around me, insyaALLAH). Nonetheless, nothing is easy in life! So, I hope Allah will manoeuvre the journey of our success and happiness in life with ease, AMIN.

So coming back to the main question, whats next?????

Im taking the easiest steps first….. the change of weather hasn’t been kind to me… soooo FACIAL, mani and pedi… I SOOOO NEED to these pronto!

So tomorrow, im gonna try TINI’s SPA… lets see how it goes

So I met my awesome dear dancer friend Farahana Azmin (we go waaayyyyy back!), boy was I lucky to be just in time to join her and a few other dancers for a workshop with Pat Ibrahim (the choreographer of Puteri Guning Ledang the Musical) at Enfiniti, Kota Damansara. It’s a Janet Jackson dance choreography workshop. COOOLLLL GILA… What an honour to be thought by him .

Home sweet home… Finally

As of tomorrow, I’ve been back in this amazing home country of mine for a week! Truthfully, I still need time to acclimatise to the culture, weather and etc. Mengada kan? No seriously…… its different when you know at the back of your mind that this is it! URE BACK, FOR GOOD !

I’m lucky that lovely and amazing people surrounds me. I’ve been very pretty productive the past week. Truth be told, I miss London and the people especially Iman, Srilicious and my work colleagues. I do miss work and the public transportation! Traffic in Malaysia is definitely a major turn off. Well, u cant have everything ey?

2012…..

A new year with different adventures and challenges!!

Ive seen many movies talking bout how 2012 would be… like if u follow all those sci-fi movies, we would probably have flying cars n a time machine, n I’m sure there are lots of people out there also believe we are nearing our extinction.

Well, at least, I know what ever happens it will already be an amazing year as I will be close to my loved ones; my boo, family n closest friends … and there are soo many things that InsyaAllah, I can expect to happen in 2012 involving my family and I.

Well, it’s not gonna be ez (got to keep reminding myself), but nothing will taste as sweet if you don’t go thru any challenges ey?

I pray for the best for my family, friends, myself and my boo… I love u all n may 2012 be another year worth remembering…

Scent of a Butterfly

I just got back from another leaving do, sighhh… I had a tea at the coolest place called Sketch at Conduit St near Regents St. I’ll probably write about Sketch in another entry when I have the time.

So, before I got on to Piccadilly Circus Station, I dropped into Penhaligons perfumers shop at Regents St. This is the first time I got the time to actually try smelling all the signature scents available in the shop. I spend almost 30 minutes ~~hoovering~~ smelling each scents. To be honest, by the 7^th bottle, my olfactory was not able to distinguish the difference… hehe.. but I persevered and endeavoured the quest .. haha what a mission!

Anyway, these 2 scents won my heart like seriously …. Without a doubt!

Number 1 fav: Amaranthine.

Amaranthine limited edition Eau de Parfum £359

This scent is really really really the best mixture I’ve ever smelled. It’s a cocktail of floral scent. The first whiff I had, I could smell Tonka Beans, Ylang Ylang and Jasmine straight away! But when I checked on the list of essential oils they used…. It was so many …. Initially on my skin, it smells rather musky, but when u leave it for awhile, it smells rather sweet and seductive. It makes me feel velvety and posh like. Hahaha.. what an explanation. But I love it!

I am going to attempt making it on my own. Good luck miss! Hhihi.. So watch this space ya’ll.

The mixture:

Head Notes
Green Tea, White Freesia, Banana Tree Leaf, Coriander Seed Oil, Cardamom Absolute

Heart Notes
Rose, Carnation, Clove Oil, Orange Blossom, Ylang Ylang Oil, Egyptian Jasmine Absolute

Base Notes
Musk, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Condensed Milk, Tonka Bean Absolute

Number 2: Artemisia

Artemisia Eau de Parfum. £95

This is a rather floral fruity fresh smell that just makes you feel pretty. When I smell it, it makes me feel like a princess walking on marshmellow clouds. Ah mazing!

Head Notes
Nectarine and Green Foliage

Heart Notes
Green Apple, Lily of the Valley, Jasmine Tea, Violet and Vanilla

Base Notes
Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Musk, Amber and Vanilla

These designer perfumes are made in England and are expensive because it is made using pure essential oils and kept in a well designed bottles. So today, I only bought their miniature that comes with 4 fragrances; Artemisia Eau de Parfum, Malabah Eau de Parfum, Elisabethan Rose Eau de Toilette and Lily of Valley Eau de Toilette. I think this miniature set is a great gift for Christmas or birthday and only £30.
