I’ve got EXAM this weekend.. what a bummer . So I can’t talk long (I sound like im on a phone heeeee ). Anyway, Monday was Darlings@Dayana’s birthday –HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING!!- , I heard she got too many presents?? No? and Tuesday Faezah left me for Lopez and family (Tak boleh blah punya drama), yeah she went back  home earlier than she should have. Heeheh.. I still sound emotional, no la.. main2 saja. Yesterday Marriam went back home, Today my today* NATRINA MAJID, my gorgeous QUEEN delivered her first baby son, tomorrow just another ordinary day, Saturday Ive got a class and I am going to see MB Perak giving his speech and Sunday will be my EXAM!!! What a hectic paragraph, I have to say. Such an important week for me, I hope I can still breathe when it’s over.

As of this point, I am so thrilled to be an aunt (for a few times), especially for my Natrina Majid and family. I’ve been so nervous and wishing so badly im with her by her side. So Darling, Faezah and everyone, pleaseeeeeeeeeee share their pictures. Such an important day for my sayang, I am dying to see them.

LOL.. I was so eager to start work and I was very stoked when they let me start work as soon as possible. Hence I would like to say ALHAMDULILLAH again, and I think I’ve had a good break even though it was full of anxiety and emotional distress but I coped and well rested.

So first day of work highlights:

1. Blisters (I had 3 blisters) – Thanks to the new shoes.
   1. It has been my personal tradition that I would usually wear new shoes for a first day of anything. So without thinking thoroughly, I decided to wear a pair of new RED hot shoes to work. It was so hot, it blistered my feet (kinda stupid!).
2. Happy: I was indeed very happy, energetic and full of ideas.
3. New tasks
   1. As soon as I started, my manager handed me new assignments.
      1. i.     I was given 2 students and 2 ATOs (assistant Audiologists) to teach and help out. Can you imagine, me… Teacher??? You kidding me? But the best part is the 2 ATO’s are Phillipino’s and older than me. I hope by the end of next year I can speak a little Tagalog .
      2. ii.     I was supposed to also set up protocols for certain advance procedure and it has to be ready by next week. Oh Em Geeeee!!  I love love love work!!!
4. Paediatrics: I am soooo ready to go into paediatrics (children’s care). So they have decided to just throw me into the deep end by making me do hearing tests for children without supervising me (of course I know what to do.. but I guess they know me well enough to trust me).

Conclusion: First day was good apart from the blisters (:P), I am soooo happy that my department misses me as much as I do and they still trust me even though I haven’t been in the department for the past year and half.

Today (Friday).. again i am still happy, energetic and eager to work. I did more paediatrics and got to know the new ATOs. But the highlight is not about work, it’s the OMEC dinner and dance party. It was a good party but I still think it’s pricey. I love my dress, bought it from Karen Millen and I love the pattern. I went with Pial and sat amongst the young entrepreneurs. I met new faces but then, I had a horror story to tell. Ok, I hope this guy won’t read this blog, hahahaha, this lady asked me whether I’m single or married, I answered single ( I thought she was asking for business purposes or some sort) but to my HORROR, she asked me for a guy. This guy finally asked me to dance and I was so shocked I ran away from him (literally!). This is my first EVER experience running away from a guy. It was so hilarious, I think I was over reacting (obviously he realised). Before i left, i finally went up to him to bid farewell (and finally have the guts to look at his face LOL), and he asked me  “i thought you were running away from me” and i said, “oh no, Its not you, I really dont know how to dance and I was quite busy” .. Oh my god!!! Liar…. And then he said, i’ll email you soon, we keep in touch. AYOOOOO…. Can run aa?? Can delete la. hahah

But other than that horror story, I had fun, like I said, I met new people which was the main purpose of the night and we met this two new gorgeous ladies Zhalifah and Shireen. They sell branded goods for fashionistas and you can also request things from them through their retail blog. They sell handbags, shoes and even accessories from London. And they can deliver to your doorsteps (London or even Malaysia) with cheaper price (I assure you they are authentic items). VISA: Shasa’s Future

Shasa’s Future: BRIGHT!!!

My passport with my new VISA is finally here ! It arrived this morning when I was merely asleep. My sleeping pattern is weird… anyway, when the postman came, I cant open my eyes, but I can here Faezah shouting “who is it?” exceptionally clear . After the call I made to home office on Monday, I told myself not to have my hopes high. But as soon as the commotion down stairs was clear, I heard Faezah rushing upstairs with a parcel on her hands. OMG… she was sooo excited I started to panic (only internally, I macho kot!).  And then after that —-> I cant remember, it was just a blur moment.. I was ecstatic and overwhelmed all at the same time. Alhamdulillah syukur .

Tomorrow will be my first day of work, I know it’s really fast, but I cant wait to start work. I miss work (I never thought I would be this person). SO ALL SMILES . Thank you everyone for the support and the motivation. I am blessed to have such wonderful people around me. Living with regrets is probably the worst feeling one can have. Yesterday, after having a loooonnnnggg chat with Darling, I know what I want now. I want to be moving forward, I don’t want to be looking back in anger (im sure once in a while ill get the relapse, given my current condition, but ill try harder!). And I don’t want to worry about other people as much as I do now; it’s eating me up! I want to live freely and be happy (an option that I should have embraced wayyy long time ago). As it is now, this is the only life I have. Life is short, so I better make full use of it!

Tomorrow will be a new day, so is every tomorrows that I will have insyaALLAH. If I don’t want to do something, I should not do it but If I want to do something, I should give all my heart. If you give the whole of your heart in your work, you will be fulfilled with joy, otherwise, it will only be a burden.

p/s: Allah tak suka org yg menyesal, Nur Kasih (true?? i dont know.. but im sure menyesal itu tak memberi kesihatan).

I woke up late this morning (well that is what I’ve been doing for the past 2 months, is this the life? NO!), and I finally got the nerve to call home office. Apparently, I can only check on it after 14 weeks right after my application date. Its been 6 weeks, so I have another 8 weeks to go?? Oh my god!!! What will I do in this coming 8 weeks (im still hoping it will get done before Christmas at least)?

Lets lay out my options:

1. Balik Malaysia dengan menggunakan **** kecemasan (sorry cant write it properly , for security purposes)
2. Take classes (unfortunately, Christmas is around the corner, so not many classes available. Perfect isn’t it??? Ppffftt).
3. Entertain visitors from Malaysia? Oh my god, siapa yang nk datang?
4. Shopping (oh yes, I would love to if I have the MONEY!!)
5. Do nothing (seriously ill go bananas!!)
6. Others (more options are better than just 5)….

I am not as emotional as I was a few days ago. I think im just gonna follow with the flow and breathe.. Nway, I’ve grown fond of Taylor Swift lately, and while youtubing I stumbled upon this video clip. I love it. And I hope you like it too.

I have always loved weekends even when I’m not working. Im sure my reasons are the same as yours.

Weekend = Relax = Fun = Friends

So on Saturday morning, Kamarul came over to help me take some photos of me for my portfolio. Fortunately there were some really satisfied snaps of myself. Faezah joined us as a model, which was fun given the fact that she has a pretty face makes it even better for us photographers J. When talking about photo shoots, I am used to having Dayana as my model and she REALLY appreciated the pictures that I took. I miss having her as my cheerleader and Dayana, you will always be my model.

Then in the evening, after Dina and Pial arrived for a sleep over, we cooked dinner and shared funny stories about the past and catch up the latest gossip (haha typical girls night in!). Then the best part for the night was when we played New Moon board game and karaoke-ing, both at the same time. Memang malam yang hangat!!!! Faezah won the game even though I’ve watched New Moon for 5 times, BUT SHE WON, grrrrrrr!! It was a good board game, I was even recommended by the Hamleys cashier. Yes indeed it was fun and challenging. In a nutshell, the game was meant for you to know New Moon VERY well and to know your friends. Want to know how, go and get the game! I am hoping we could play it again when Yan is back and Marriam is free from her exams!

Today is Nur Kasih’s final episode and I cried (A LITTLE). It was a really good finale and a good show as a whole. First time in my life I think that Malaysian actors have qualities. Yesssss finally it is Sunday, my 2^nd AUD class just ended 10 minutes ago, what a relief. I am sitting on a chair in Westminster University with my lappy and a cup of hot choc. Oh heavenly student life…. Anyway,while waiting for Faezah, im going to share some Geriatrics (study of old age, x>65) with you (the chill partla, you don’t wanna know the depressing part).

I think Geriatric studies in Hearing Loss are a heavy and depressive subject to start of with. Even so, I still like it very much. I think I might do a further study on Geriatrics… yeah maybe if my brains still h the energy to learn after this AUD degree. My dad is reaching 74 and the whole time, I was thinking about him. Alhamdullah, he is still with it, healthy (as healthy as one can be at that age) and I can still communicate with him very well. Do you know that people are living longer (people that live up to 100 have doubled since 1950’s). And I don’t know if this is good or bad, women live longer than men! And apparently, a TV show called it’s only a theory (it’s quite an interesting show) in BBC, found that a person that can live up to 1000 has been born. I don’t know how to verify this theory but then again, I think its just a theory!

Let me share with you something simple. When we grow older, everything grows old too right! So a lot of changes will happen to our bodies. Our bones, heart, hearing…. vision will deteriorate (so depressing kan, accept it, it’s a FACT!), and have you realized that your taste buds and your sense of smell will grow old too? Have you ever wondered why the elderly usually smells really bad? Or their meals are too salty? That’s because their sense of smell deteriorates as well as their taste buds. They tend to lose the sweet and salty taste. So sad kan! I’ve learnt to be more understanding and I think you should too but that doesn’t give us a way to not keep up with our hygiene. Albeit, that doesn’t mean when we grow old, we cannot have fun or have a social life.  Look at this elderly rock band,  The Zimmers, if they can do it, why cant our parents/grandparents in Malaysia do it!!!

Now, since we have established that this is a very depressing topic, listen to my old time favourite song . It is called If tomorrow never comes by Joose. Most of you have heard Ronan Keating’s version.. You don’t know when you will die so, don’t forget to tell the person you love, I LOVE YOU. Even if you are young, you don’t know when you will die.

The first song i played with my guitar back when i was 14. That was 11 years ago and i still cant play well. LOL!

Okla.. Faezah is already on her way, i better go to Hamleys before she gets there first. I am getting myself Taboo!! Trying to expend my vocabulary

It’s been a month since I send my passport away to make the VISA. Yesterday, 3 of my friends asked me about my VISA.  And this morning, I got to know another friend of mine who send in her passport later than I did, got hers already. Yes, I still haven’t got them and I still haven’t started work! No, I’m not annoyed and I know my wonderful friends, they just care.  But this makes me more and more anxious and most of all frustrated. It is so bad, I dream of getting my passport everyday. Albeit, I believe that“ ALL the good things comes from Allah s.w.t” and I know whatever reasons happening in my life are “gods wishes” and they always end up for the best. A few days ago after I read the tafsir Al- Quran, I came across the phrase that reminded me to be patient. Alhamdulillah signs from god. But honestly, I feel like I’m stuck on a cross roads and my next journey in life depends on the wind (home office). Gosh how one piece of document can be so important.

I can’t decide my future on my own. I have relentlessly keeping up living in UK without my partner, friends and family. Is it worth it? am I giving up? Pain is what forces us to get strong. Amboi so serious, this is what I get by being too close to Faezah, she makes me think! LOL, insyaALLAH as soon as I get my passport, ill let you know which path god has chosen for me. So for now, please jangan tanya! I really would appreciate that .

On a lighter note, I handed in my Geriatrics power point presentation yesterday. It felt good, I feel like one burdens off my shoulder. Even though more hurdles are coming, I’m going to enjoy my short-lived freedom till tomorrow. One at a time my friends… And Thursday, my next AUD class will commence. YEAY,  at least something is progressing. I hope tomorrow will be bright and sunny or rain i dont care just happy . AMIN!

I know I should be sleeping right now but thank you twifans @tweeter for sharing the URL for the live streaming New Moon Premiere in LA. So awesome, Ive never been on a premiere or near a premiere yet. Hopefully ill do it before I go home for good. Yan and I missed the twilight party here in London (yeah it sucks bigggg time). Anyway, im just waiting for Kristen Stewart to be interviewed.  And its 3.50 am. I know all this crazy infatuation and obsession with Robert Pattinson among my friends but I think I Kellan Lutz hotter and cooler, sooo hot!

Ok Kristen’s here …. Live on my lap top screen (sad I know, but I still love it!) She is soooo genuinely honest and brilliant. Love her dress, maybe not so much of the hair. My moment with Kristen just passed and that was just phenomenal. Cant wait to watch the movie!!! Enjoy the pics!
