WEEKEND I LOVE

I have always loved weekends even when I’m not working. Im sure my reasons are the same as yours.

Weekend = Relax = Fun = Friends

So on Saturday morning, Kamarul came over to help me take some photos of me for my portfolio. Fortunately there were some really satisfied snaps of myself. Faezah joined us as a model, which was fun given the fact that she has a pretty face makes it even better for us photographers J. When talking about photo shoots, I am used to having Dayana as my model and she REALLY appreciated the pictures that I took. I miss having her as my cheerleader and Dayana, you will always be my model.

Then in the evening, after Dina and Pial arrived for a sleep over, we cooked dinner and shared funny stories about the past and catch up the latest gossip (haha typical girls night in!). Then the best part for the night was when we played New Moon board game and karaoke-ing, both at the same time. Memang malam yang hangat!!!! Faezah won the game even though I’ve watched New Moon for 5 times, BUT SHE WON, grrrrrrr!! It was a good board game, I was even recommended by the Hamleys cashier. Yes indeed it was fun and challenging. In a nutshell, the game was meant for you to know New Moon VERY well and to know your friends. Want to know how, go and get the game! I am hoping we could play it again when Yan is back and Marriam is free from her exams!

That’s the life!! Now I am watching X-factor results. I am not really watching the results, just the guest artists ~ Alicia Keys (AWESOME!) and Rihanna (Not bad). So I hope everyone enjoyed your weekend. And happy working tomorrow and have an awesome week!

Yesssss finally it is Sunday, my 2^nd AUD class just ended 10 minutes ago, what a relief. I am sitting on a chair in Westminster University with my lappy and a cup of hot choc. Oh heavenly student life…. Anyway,while waiting for Faezah, im going to share some Geriatrics (study of old age, x>65) with you (the chill partla, you don’t wanna know the depressing part).

I think Geriatric studies in Hearing Loss are a heavy and depressive subject to start of with. Even so, I still like it very much. I think I might do a further study on Geriatrics… yeah maybe if my brains still h the energy to learn after this AUD degree. My dad is reaching 74 and the whole time, I was thinking about him. Alhamdullah, he is still with it, healthy (as healthy as one can be at that age) and I can still communicate with him very well. Do you know that people are living longer (people that live up to 100 have doubled since 1950’s). And I don’t know if this is good or bad, women live longer than men! And apparently, a TV show called it’s only a theory (it’s quite an interesting show) in BBC, found that a person that can live up to 1000 has been born. I don’t know how to verify this theory but then again, I think its just a theory!

Let me share with you something simple. When we grow older, everything grows old too right! So a lot of changes will happen to our bodies. Our bones, heart, hearing…. vision will deteriorate (so depressing kan, accept it, it’s a FACT!), and have you realized that your taste buds and your sense of smell will grow old too? Have you ever wondered why the elderly usually smells really bad? Or their meals are too salty? That’s because their sense of smell deteriorates as well as their taste buds. They tend to lose the sweet and salty taste. So sad kan! I’ve learnt to be more understanding and I think you should too but that doesn’t give us a way to not keep up with our hygiene. Albeit, that doesn’t mean when we grow old, we cannot have fun or have a social life. Look at this elderly rock band, The Zimmers, if they can do it, why cant our parents/grandparents in Malaysia do it!!!

Now, since we have established that this is a very depressing topic, listen to my old time favourite song . It is called If tomorrow never comes by Joose. Most of you have heard Ronan Keating’s version.. You don’t know when you will die so, don’t forget to tell the person you love, I LOVE YOU. Even if you are young, you don’t know when you will die.

The first song i played with my guitar back when i was 14. That was 11 years ago and i still cant play well. LOL!

Okla.. Faezah is already on her way, i better go to Hamleys before she gets there first. I am getting myself Taboo!! Trying to expend my vocabulary

Why so SeRioUs?

It’s been a month since I send my passport away to make the VISA. Yesterday, 3 of my friends asked me about my VISA. And this morning, I got to know another friend of mine who send in her passport later than I did, got hers already. Yes, I still haven’t got them and I still haven’t started work! No, I’m not annoyed and I know my wonderful friends, they just care. But this makes me more and more anxious and most of all frustrated. It is so bad, I dream of getting my passport everyday. Albeit, I believe that“ ALL the good things comes from Allah s.w.t” and I know whatever reasons happening in my life are “gods wishes” and they always end up for the best. A few days ago after I read the tafsir Al- Quran, I came across the phrase that reminded me to be patient. Alhamdulillah signs from god. But honestly, I feel like I’m stuck on a cross roads and my next journey in life depends on the wind (home office). Gosh how one piece of document can be so important.

I can’t decide my future on my own. I have relentlessly keeping up living in UK without my partner, friends and family. Is it worth it? am I giving up? Pain is what forces us to get strong. Amboi so serious, this is what I get by being too close to Faezah, she makes me think! LOL, insyaALLAH as soon as I get my passport, ill let you know which path god has chosen for me. So for now, please jangan tanya! I really would appreciate that .

On a lighter note, I handed in my Geriatrics power point presentation yesterday. It felt good, I feel like one burdens off my shoulder. Even though more hurdles are coming, I’m going to enjoy my short-lived freedom till tomorrow. One at a time my friends… And Thursday, my next AUD class will commence. YEAY, at least something is progressing. I hope tomorrow will be bright and sunny or rain i dont care just happy . AMIN!

New Moon Crazy Premiere

I know I should be sleeping right now but thank you twifans @tweeter for sharing the URL for the live streaming New Moon Premiere in LA. So awesome, Ive never been on a premiere or near a premiere yet. Hopefully ill do it before I go home for good. Yan and I missed the twilight party here in London (yeah it sucks bigggg time). Anyway, im just waiting for Kristen Stewart to be interviewed. And its 3.50 am. I know all this crazy infatuation and obsession with Robert Pattinson among my friends but I think I Kellan Lutz hotter and cooler, sooo hot!

Ok Kristen’s here …. Live on my lap top screen (sad I know, but I still love it!) She is soooo genuinely honest and brilliant. Love her dress, maybe not so much of the hair. My moment with Kristen just passed and that was just phenomenal. Cant wait to watch the movie!!! Enjoy the pics!

ok .. im going to sleep now. Faezah will kill me if i don’t wake up tomorrow. Ok taaa!

My super hero boy band!

I am convinced that i’ve been studying really consistently for the past three days. Even though it was slow but it was consistent (nak sedap kan hati). Yesterday however, I had a good break, I woke up really late and my body too had a good rest. Monday’s trepeze class was excellent but it left me with further more bruises (why do I enjoy this torture? For the love of art..). I can’t really move much without crying out my misery (rasa macam dah tua tu!, shish)..

So as soon as I woke up, I did some photo editing and eat Mira’s awesome noodles. Then we (Nico, Mira, Faezah and myself) had a round of Karaoke (our pre-concert), before Mira and I head to 02 Arena for BACK STREET BOYS! Oh my god, it was awesome!!!! Just to add some spice, 5 minutes before the show starts, most of the x-factor finalist came into the arena and they sat literally one deck above us. I can see Danyl, Stacey, Joe, Lloyd, JEdward and Olly so clearly. Honestly, I don’t really care much about them because I don’t follow the show this time around (oh well, I don’t think im the x-factor type, I prefer Britains Got Talent). But seriously, I know people don’t really like the twins (JEdward), but at the age of 17 and having the public booing at them in front of their face, I really feel sorry for them. Of course they sucks vocally, but they are no doubt entertaining. Even so, I wont waste my money voting them but I obviously WONT boo them. Plus, I think they are kinda cute .

Anyway, back to my oh so awesome boy band, TAK TIPU, it was like high school all over again. They were soooo old school gitu, they did their sliding steps and their boy band stuff. And my favourite Nick Carter.. like Oh My Goddd… he is soooo handsome. He’s no longer that young blond center parted Nick, now he is that matured hot brunette hunky Nick. Vocally, they are all still with it! They still have it.. For a £35 concert it was all WORTH IT! Ok I NEED to continue watching heroes (to re-live the HERO in me.. serious ni.. !!! Merepek dah mak cik ni).. then continue studying!!

Grrr…. I didn’t watch the game, instead, I read it on Goal.com. I was trying to minimise the damage that would have caused me if they would lose. I knew it!!! EMO! I shouldn’t have read the website either but cannot la kan, I’d have to be on the same page as Ifham. Oh well, at least we are not such ’sore losers’ like Kelantan football team supporters. No offence, but it was hilarious. Of all the things that you can do, why set the chairs at the stadium on fire?? Tak sekolah!! Kan tak pasal2 kene bayar buat kerusi baru .. ngong gak aa! maaf, saya emo.

Its ok.. we will rise again, somehow! – stupid referee for giving that stupid free kick that wasn’t supposed to be.. Come on MAN U!! emoooo. Why is studying so tiring? emooo..no its not time of the month.. emoo

I’ve gone to a complete hiatus from blogging for the past ‘almost’ two weeks . I have been busy even though I am not working ! I’ve had to do my first assignment; essay writing (after a LONGGGG time). And before handing in my last minute essay, I will have to get my trustworthy friends to look at them and approve it before my lecturer gets them. Dah la last minute, 12 pages and ayat tunggang langgang.. Karat man karat man poor Darling and baby.. oouuhh dah la time difference yg sgt besar tu, thank you korang.. LOVE YOU GUYS mcm org giler! Dah la busy dgn essay, then OMEC was also busy with this Dinner and Dance thingy.. and the best part was, I was in charged of the invitation (invitation card and the rest) .. the same week that I have to hand in my work.. WAH LOW!! Okok.. tapikan okla it was a legitimate reason for using my time other than working on the essay but ada ke… si Shasa ni busy tgk TV series… oh my gooodddd… If I can slap myself, I would have grrr…

I’ve been trying to keep up with the rest of the series; Desperate Housewives ( I love the drama.. tak tipu!), 90210 (hmmmm…. Because they are all hotties?), Greys Anatomy (Pakai pampers = HARD CORE!), Gossip Girl (Hilary Duff, soooo cute with that geek), Vampire Diaries (Why are vampires always the hot ones’? it’s ok, I still love each one of them ~drool) , Brothers and Sisters (the only episode that makes me cry ALL the time when it ends) and the latest one: NUR KASIH! Yeah it is actually pretty good nono very good (Nanti Faezah marah , yes Remy Ishak pon hensemmmm) She made me watch this malay drama series. It has soooo much moral values that I think it is making me a better person… nuff said but seriously.. I was busy watching those series when I was supposed to finish my essay…. I think lesson learned, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE SHASA AZIZ!!! Hehehe… takpe sebab im already up to date with all of them lalalala ….

Haaaa…. Okok.. some more updates:

I’ve got a new KARAOKE SET!!!!!! Best best best tak terhingga sampai sakit la tekak I ngn Faezah.. We’ve got our favourite song, our duet song, our emo song, our +++ hahahah… (u malu ke Faezah. Skit? Hahah) yeah she does have an awesome voice people , how about now?? Hehe love u Faezah. I hope soon after Dina is free from her duties ie: exams and future husband, she will come and sing with us.. all night long K DINA.. u promised!

NEXT: Kerry (my x colleague in Royal Surrey County Hospital), Mike (Kerry’s bf), Faezah and I, went to Greenwich last last weekend. Best.best.. hmmmm I think I enjoyed taking pictures the most hehee and spending time with Kerry and Mike too. We had an awesome time. Bought quite a bit at the market. Faezah la.. dia shopping sakan! Ahhaha yeah, I love blaming Faezah for everything and I think dia pon dah Pasrah hahahaha.. I don’t think she has got any choice, sorry babes, heeeeeeeee…

(mana boleh makin kecik kan duhhhh!) now he knows how to main mata please.. eyh forgot, Yans birthday should be about Yan.. Yan dah start keje ni makin hot la. Is that your secret Yan? I can’t wait to start work. Then we also had a heavy breakfast at Giraffe that weekend with the Adli’s, soooo much fun! Yan this weekend k.. or the next, we chill some more hot mama! OK, today, anyway, after menanam anggur for almost TWO months ni, (oh My.. after acknowledging my employment status, I am REALLLLLYYYY hoping I will get my VISA soon), I got a new photography job! Finally, a hobby that gives something in return (ye la… skating menghabiskan duit bapak I, nyanyi tak kasi i duit langsung, shopping habiskan duit I, LOL). I’ve been spending my time like a tourist today; I took almost 1000 pictures of landmarks in London. The power of Digital Camera! I can’t share the pictures as yet. It is for a calendar for this Bank, hence all the hassle going everywhere..

But the worst part was IT WAS BLOODY COLD and I had to go to the toilet for 7 times, dari pukul 11 30 pg sampai 10 mlm, I had to go to the loo 7 times??… gilo apo?? I think I have a problem…………… its either it was too cold or I seriously need to go and see my GP. It was soooo bad I almost went to the guys toilet mistakenly.. tak kelakar ni, emo ni!!! Hahaha.. damn aaa… malu k! I went for the shoot with Abang Fadzil, Miriam’s husband, mmg dah tk malu la… Nasib Fadzil mcm abang i.. If not serious man.. I need to use pampers la next time (HARD COREEEEE!!!).. tak pela, I think my bums too big laa.. I will never pull it off.. huahuahua.. okok.. tomorrow I have team building thingy with my colleagues at St Mary’s Hospital before I start work properly, I guess things are looking pretty good for me.. Natijahnyer, I miss all of you soooo much and im ok la.. still alive and kicking .
