So many tales to share, but so little time to spare… My daddy dearest is here, and I have left him at home, ALONE
.. This would be my dads first time being left at home alone without my bonda or my siblings. It is nice to have him around but I am sad we don’t really have much time to spend (haih kerjaku).
Just to update you on my run, I had such an amazing morning with Kerry my work colleague at Hyde Park yesterday for the ADIDAS 5k women’s challenge. We were really early that morning, warmed up and run.. not really run per se, but jogged and walked really fast. Haha, why? Well, there were 17000 women on the track, not just women there were children, sick people and pregnant woman (such variety of participants, I guess for most, 5km is like a walk in the park). It was a terrific event; I got to see people running in costumes (such as a horse, bunny, dogs, girls with tutu, girls on sailor, naughty nurse costumes and lots more!). For every curve on the route, there were entertainment like; cheerleaders from the breast cancer charity, samba band, Irish band, cheer’s from different charities (mind you there were about 50 charities involved)! When we reached the ‘final destination’, we had such a good feeling * a mixture of relief and satisfaction*, to my surprise, there were also people giving *free hugs*! Haha, I don’t need one, I have my dad waiting for me diligently next to playground. Ahaha love you Ayahanda. How can you not enjoy the challenge? So we managed to finish the challenge for 40 minutes (long but what the hack), to me the challenge was more of how to by pass the people in front of me. Annoying but funny, LOL!

On the way to assembly point..

Ramaiiiii…

hhaha, here is one stupid funny picture of us, getting ready!

Us warming up.. we were in the middle.. there were many more behind us!

But to me the high light would be the opportunity to meet Victoria Pendleton LIVE in person.. She was certainly hot and as my living role model, she gave me such motivation to keep fit and be sexy at the same time (fewitt)! So I guess my charity this year will be on hold for at least a month. I might sign up for next years ADIDAS 5k womens challenge again or maybe step up to NIKE 10 km run, so who’s with me?? I would like to shout out a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all of my beloved friends who supported me via motivation sms, motivation through fb, your comments and constant asking for my training updates and most importantly, YOUR VOLUNTEERY CONTRIBUTION FOR THE DONATION! Hopefully, god will guide you to a better path and bless whatever you do. InsyaAllah you will receive a thank you note through your door soon
.
p/s: suddenly it felt like I’ve just won an Oscar, heeee!
Anyway, just to update you, I’ve just finished reading The Sister Diaries by Karen Quinn. Such a deep and interesting book, one of the books you just can’t stop when you start, caprice! I think my reading habit is improving by the day. Thank you Dina for encouraging

While im suffering from muscle ache, work must go on
